Regenerative Products start with Regenerative Pratices
Naturally Neutral
We work to source materials that make a positive impact on the earth. Using supply chains that replenish the earth, and materials that store carbon. Creating systems that strive towards carbon nuetrality.
Positive for People
Your well-being is our priority, whether you're making our products or living with them. We ensure our products contain no harmful chemicals or off-gassing substances and that our supply chains support local businesses.
Designed for the Bio-Region
At OkaTerra, we believe that regeneration begins in the soil. We work with farmers who utilize practices that nurture biodiversity, protect native species, and steward the earth for generations to come.
Transparency
Our supply chain isn’t an afterthought, it’s the starting point. We design our products around the materials and relationships that make them possible. Allowing us to have a trackable and transparent supply chain.
Durable and Biodegradable
Okaterra furniture is designed to be sturdy, stable, and long-lasting. But, there's a big difference between earth‘s and our lifetimes. With this in mind, we built our products to safely return to the environment.
Want to collaborate towards a regenerative future?
We work with architects, designers, wholesalers, individuals, regenerative farmers, sustainably focused organizations. Do you have an idea for a project? Want to carry our products in your space? We would love to connect!
Co-founders, Justin Beitzel & Fernando Ramirez combine regenerative agriculture and local community based efforts along with their experience as industrial designers to push forward a new approach to furniture design. OkaTerra started as an exploration that asked “Can the future of furniture be regenerative?” Since then they’ve reimagined a supply chain that gives back more than it takes. For people and planet.
